My Life?

Today I was reading a book called "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan. In his book is states, "So many of us think and live like the movie of life is all about us." This made me wander if I was living in that mindset. I say often "it not about you it is about Him", this refering to God. But am I living that statement. After wrestling for about an hour looking for the answer to this statement I went to the only answer book I have to be trustworthy and that is God's Word. In 1 Corninthians 10:31, "Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." I can live my life in the flesh and it will always be about me, mine, and I. Whoa is me, worry, stress will overtake my life. God did not intend life on earth to be peachy and cherry. That life is waiting in Heaven for those whose have a personal relationship with Christ. On the otherhand I can choose to live life in the Spirit, a life of trusting and obeying His will and direction. I have some tough times these last monthes with not having a job and strating this church. Money, worry, and stress pokes its nasty head each and everyday. But I have to choose am I going to live in the flesh or the Spirit. Flesh just leads to more misery, but the Spirit leads to the presence of God, He gives us a deeper peace and joy that transcends it all. To be brutally honest, it does not matter where you or I find ourselves right now as long it brings Glorly to God. We have to reflect and ask ourselves, "Is the point of my life is to point to God."
